LAW Calibration is Northern New England’s most comprehensive 17025 Accredited Calibration Laboratory. Founded in 2010 to provide process manufacturers with calibration services they needed for both in-lab and on-site facilities. Our team of professionals continues to cover it all, from simple mass calibrations to extensive pressure, air and temperature and humidity calibrations.

We are a full-service 17025 Accredited field and in-lab calibration laboratory. We are a trusted partner to industry and government covering the Northeast Region of the United States and abroad for air, pressure, flow, force, torque, mass, dimensional, temperature and temp|humidity.

Founder

Louis Waterhouse

Louis A. Watherhouse, formed and founded LAW Calibration in 2010, after serving in the United States Air Force as an E-4 Senior Airman, where he began his credentialed career in Metrology and Calibration Solutions. Developing a pedigree with the best defense and governmental institutions, including the United States Government at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, and a lead Metrologist and National Trainer for Northrop Grumman.

With a desire to give back to his home state of Maine, Louis set out to become Maine’s most comprehensive standards laboratory and with sights set on becoming a fixture in the community and expanding to cover the entire Northeast and beyond. In 2014, Louis was honored with the Maine SCORE Veteran Owned Business of the Year award.

Over the next four years LAW solidified itself becoming Maine's largest ISO/IEC 17025-2017 Accredited Calibration laboratory. Subsequently, in 2018, Louis was recognized as the Veteran Owned Small Business of the Year in Maine. We are proud to be a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. We are the real deal, Veterans doing the real work, and never outsourcing our services.
